Apple has made a scandalous statement in recent days, saying that iPhone slows down because of battery health drops. Although they apologized to the users upon reactions, users want to be aware of the iPhone battery test.
iPhone battery test is easy!
It is quite easy for iPhone users to test the health of their batteries, and it is now possible to see the status of your battery in a very simple way thanks to the well-known application called Battery Life, developed by a developer named Victor Robinson. This application, which has a fairly simple interface, is available free of charge on the AppStore.
You can download the Battery Life application using this link and measure your iPhone battery health. The app is described as “Did you ever worry about your battery? Battery Life give you information to let our know more about your devices’ battery.” on AppStore.
It is already rated by 81 users and it got 3.5 points out of 5. One of the users also left a comment indicating, “Need to improve visuality. Other things work good. Can see design capacity. It’s done.” This comment is accompanied by a 5 stars.
Get a Discounted Battery From Apple
Since Apple’s confessed to slowing down old iPhones with degraded batteries, the company has gone on to offer a discount on replacement batteries, after classifying them as consumable components. It will also update iOS 11 itself to include more detailed information about your battery.
Instead of the usual $79 charge for replacing a battery out of warranty, you can get it replaced by Apple for $29 beginning in late January 2018. The company will release more details about the process “soon,” according to a press release.
If you’ve got a bad battery, you could always replace it at the Apple Store. You could also take it to a smartphone repair retailer, though you’ll be paying an estimated $69.99, which seems a bit steep compared to the alternative.
