iPhone 6S is one of the mobile phones the longest lived especially among Apple’s products. Apple usually offers only the previous model iPhone when it announces a new model; however, in this case something seems to change. From 6S to iPhone 8 and iPhone X, all models are now available on Apple’s official website. But, now comes up a question: Which model to buy? This time we will be more on side of iPhone 6S.
The price of iPhone 6S
It should go without saying that Apple’s older iPhones are going to be cheaper than its new ones.
Here’s what the new iPhones cost:
• iPhone 8 with 64 GB of storage: $700.
• iPhone 8 Plus with 64 GB of storage: $800.
• iPhone X with 64 GB of storage: $1,000.
However, Apple is still selling the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus for significantly less than the new iPhones:
• iPhone 6S with 32 GB of storage: $450.
• iPhone 6S Plus with 32 GB of storage: $550.
iPhone 6S has an excellent design – and you’ll find comfort in knowing that the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus look nearly identical to the new iPhone 8 models. Both the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 8 have the same size of bezels around the display and same overall shape, and their screens are the same size and same resolution.
Apple added improvements to the iPhone 8’s and iPhone X’s screens, including TrueTone, which adjusts the overall color temperature to match the lighting in your surrounding, and a wide color gamut for richer colors.
At the same time, the screen on the iPhone 6S is still excellent. The screen on that phone has the same sharpness and resolution as the new iPhone 8, and it reproduces colors just fine for browsing the web, using apps, watching videos, looking at photos, and playing games.
